I believe that students should be able to blog because it gives students an insight as to what happens in other countries.. I wouldnt know any of what i have learnt if we werent blogging.. This is because the students are able to tell us themselves what they do and visa-versa.. It is one way to keep students interested because we are talking to students our own age and it is what we are interested in…

My favorite holiday would be christmas. We go to my mums side of the family for lunch and my dads side of the family for tea. We eat things like turkey and roasts with salads or a BBQ. We normally have a tree and have presents =] It is a good beacuse some of my family members live far away and we rarely see each other. It is a time where all our family m embers come toghether.
Last week we went to tassy for our school camp. It was the year 9 and 10s. Some of the highlights of the camp was going to the chocolate factory, the zoo where the animals were we went out in this thing and got to feed animals and the chair lift which was funny cause Maureen was scared… Some of the not so good bits of the camp would have been how much time we spent on the bus and how we werent allowed in other peoples rooms… I would recommend this camp to others as long as they are prepared for long hours on the bus all week…
I did my work experience at WDVS which is a vet clinic. I did a lot of washing and walking dogs morning and night. I also watched surgery which included a leg amputation and a lot of dog and cat spays. I think that it was good but i dont wish to become a vet as the enter score to get into the courses in really high.
Well depending on what day of the week it is determines what i do. On Thursdays i have netball training and Tuesday nights i play as well. other things that i do on the other nights after school is milking cows, riding horses and ohter farm work. I also watch Home And Away when i get inside at the right time. My favourite would be netball training as it means i get out of most of the other stuff i have to do like milking and horses and get to spend time with the girls i play with ![]()
What is the most precious item in your life? The one thing that you cannot do without. The thing in life you value the most. This question does leave some room for interpretation. There is no wrong interpretation. Please answer with what pops into your head first. Please do not over think it!
I don’t think i would be able to say that there is one thing that is most precious thing in my life. If i had to narrow it down i would say three things i cant live without is my faimly and they support and love me no matter what, and my friends for the same reason but also that they are there to pick me up when i am down and the third(which is a bit strange) is a couple of our animals including my horse, i think is because when i feel like i am trapped and need to get away i can with their help.
Stephen: Whats it like to have all those weird animals around?
The animals that we have around to us aren’t weird as we live around them all the time but some things like snakes (which most people don’t like) make people really scared if the see them…
Laura: what are the common sports that they play in Australia.
Probably the most common sport played and watched in Australia would be footy.. another male sport would be cricket and female sports would be netball. . .
Katelyn: Are the foods in Australia the same as in Canada or do they eat weird things like ants ???
No we don’t eat ants. I’m guessing we wouldnt probably eat the same stuff only the native animals we eat would be different. Like kangaroos, emus and possum (i have never tried any of these.)
Tyler: Can you sand surf in Australia? if so Have you?
We can sand surf in Australia but no i havn’t(one of the guys just explained what it is!! haha)
The best thing about where i live would probably be how much space we have.
And the most unique thing about our school is the looks of the boys that go here..
and also the looks of the boys that we compete against in inter-school events
(Lauren and me think so anyway)
